Had a great run with Crystal and Tammy today. With over a month of no running or gym due to injury and then an addition of 2 weeks of laziness means a huge loss in stamina ans endurance. So no running + lazy = slow moving miles. We did run 6 miles, not bad for a month and a half off. Crystal and Tammy were great enough to do slow intervals with me, we ran a 2:1 ratio, average pace 13:50. It felt pretty good most of the run, still had some knee pain but not nearly as tight as a week ago. So I say no running in a month and a half but I did do a race with Crystal last week. A 5 mile half trail (not aware of that fun fact when we signed up) and enormous hills.
This has been a tough weekend as far as food goes. For as many positive changes I have made I continue to struggle stress eating. Ahh those happy hormones.
Goals for the week:
Gym- 3 minute make over. No clue what this is but willing to give it a try, upper half and core &abs.

Today marks one year since I decided to kick my own butt. I was extremely overweight, sedentary, unhappy and exhausted. I have worked hard to lose 136 pounds! I am still fighting to lose 50 more. I have discover that I LOVE running. I have completed 3 1/2 marathons and am thinking of tackling a full. First I want to improve my speed because really who wants to run for 6 hours.
